Skunk Johnson Cabin

Skunk Johnson Cabin Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"The route includes wonderful vistas of Sheridan Gulch and Dry Creek Canyon. The historic cabin on a remote stream is an interesting destination in its own right. Fishing might be a possibility along with harvesting apples (in season).

This short hike takes you into a deep canyon in the remote southwest corner of the Gila. Its destination is the site of several cabins dating from the 1930s. There are pleasant campsites along the Dry Fork near the cabins."
