North Foothills Trail

North Foothills Trail Professional Review and Guide

"The North Foothills Trail offers mountain bikers a great opportunity to ride rolling singletrack almost any day of the year. This fun 11.6-mile out- and- back trail provides great access to several other trails—allowing riders to customize their route in both distance and technicality!

The Foothills Trail sees its fair share of traffic. It’s popular with hikers, trail runners, and mountain bikers, so be on the lookout for other users, particularly on rolling hills and sharp corners. Although trail etiquette requires bikers to yield to hikers, you will find that most hikers and runners on this trail will happily step to the side to allow bikers to pass. The trail features a good amount of fast and curvy singletrack, with a few portions of rocky, technical riding. It is a good choice for beginner to intermediate mountain bikers."
