High Point Hill Challenge

High Point Hill Challenge Professional Review and Guide

"For those who like to climb, there is a certain appeal to finding the highest point in the state. At 1,803 feet, High Point State Park is that place in New Jersey.

The park offers scenic views of Pennsylvania, New York, and New Jersey. This ride takes you on a loop from Dingmans Ferry on the Delaware River to High Point and back. This is a hilly ride, which is why it is designated a challenge, but the ride should be accessible to an average hill climber who doesn’t mind a few 300+-foot climbs. Terrain: Rolling to hilly. This is the hilliest region of New Jersey, so there will be a lot of ups and downs."
