Paulin’s Kill Lake and Paulin’s Kill River

Paulin’s Kill Lake and Paulin’s Kill River Professional Review and Guide

"Abundant wildlife in the quiet north half of the lake and a scenic trip up the river are yours to enjoy for the day. Paulin’s Kill Lake is unique due to its extremely long and narrow shape. A private community gobbled up the land on the southern half of the lake. Most of the homes sit back from the shoreline, but their docks are prominent features. Only a few private properties adjoin the lake in the northern section above the Route 622 bridge, where the New Jersey Division of Fish and Wildlife acquired a large parcel of land through the Green Acres Program. This is a great location on days with high winds when you want to get a good workout, because its narrow width offers protection from all but the windiest conditions. No facilities are available here, but there are plenty of shrubs and trees."
