Lake Mercer Professional Guide
Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook
"Mercer County Park is a huge complex. The park’s miles of rolling hills sprinkled with trees and woods have something for everyone, including golf, soccer, tennis, and, of course, boating. Set in the midst of the park is the 275-acre Lake Mercer with launch facilities, a small nature center, and restrooms. University sculling crews practice on the lake and anglers come from miles around to try their luck.
While most water activities occur in the central and western parts of the lake, the best paddling can be found on the eastern end, where thick woods line the shores. If you live around this highly populated area and want some large waters to paddle without traveling too far, this is the place."
