So this review is for both North and South as we cannot find North Twin in Trails.com We climbed up North and then walked over to South and then back. If we planned a little better we would have continued to Gale and then perhaps Zealand ultimately back to Zealand Rd. But some of the group would not have made it. Anyway the first part of the hike is fairly flat. There are supposed to be three river crossings which would be quite difficult in high waters. We missed two of them and saw the last. However there is a path that continues along the river until you reach the 3rd crossing. Some dogs may be able to cross the log. We walked up a little and crossed through the river to get to the other side. Once you hit the other side, it gets steep for most of the hike up.Beautiful view from the top of North. Walk to South is nice and easy and a more open summit view all around. Overall for Wyler it was good. He had no problems.
