    North Sugarloaf Trail

    North Sugarloaf Trail Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Volunteers have made major improvements along North Sugarloaf Trail and at the summit. Rustic steps facilitate the ascent and water bars fight the effects of erosion. Mountaintop trees were cut to improve views. These improvements make North Sugarloaf worth another visit.

Follow Zealand Road over Zealand Brook to the Trestle and Sugarloaf trailheads. Turn right (northwest) into the woods following yellow blazes. Wind along the brook for 0.15 mile to a fork. The Trestle Trail continues to hug the riverbank as you turn left (northwest) on the Sugarloaf Trail, departing the river on level terrain. In less than 0.1 mile, cross a grassy road and a ski mobile trail."
