Although there are some waterfalls here, the main reason to visit Lost River Gorge is to climb into any of the many caves, tunnels, and rock formations. A boardwalk takes you through the gorge, and the features are marked. This is a great place for children of all ages, and you could spend a half hour or half a day here. Note: There is an entry fee. There are numerous cascades and falls deep within the strewn boulders, but Paradise Falls is the only named falls. Continue along the path, visiting other features along the way, until you reach the final feature, Look Off Point, where you will get a view of the Hall of Ships below you and Mounts Tripyramid, Osceola, and Tecumseh in the distance. Once out of the gorge, continue along the path to visit the informative Nature Garden before returning to the main entrance and the parking just below.
