Georgiana and Harvard Falls Trail

Georgiana and Harvard Falls Trail Professional Review and Guide

"There’s never a dull moment along the trail to Georgiana and Harvard Falls. Warm up with an easy jaunt on a wide woods road, then hike on a footpath that snakes beside Harvard Brook, and finally scramble up the boulders that fringe cascading Georgiana Falls.

Although the last 0.4 mile from Georgiana to Harvard Falls is quite steep and probably not appropriate for preschoolers or adults backpacking small children, youngsters will find the initial 0.8 mile (to the turnaround point) delightful. Bring bathing suits or shoes for wading—nothing but winter weather will keep kids out of the water."

Great trail to do with kids of any age. There is something to see or do all the way up. There is one brief section that has a steep drop off where holding on to the hands of younger children would be wise.
