Mount Whiteface Professional Review and Guide
"For more than a century, the Wonalancet Out Door Club (WODC) has maintained a collection of scenic and challenging trails that explore the White Mountain National Forest’s most southern range. Within this region’s sweeping ridgelines and steep mountain slopes lie an abundance of gems: quiet vistas, fern-draped forests, and gnarled rock outcrops. Perhaps the most spectacular of these features is the prominently visible Mount Whiteface, the area’s signature summit. While accessible from a number of directions, this circuit beginning from the Ferncroft trailhead provides the most options with varying lengths and degrees of difficulty."
