Mine Falls Professional Review and Guide

"This country has been late in catching on to the European tradition of the urban greenway, where residents can stroll amiably for daily exercise or the occasional break from city living.

Thanks are due to the citizens of Nashua for preserving Mine Falls Park as a hidden oasis in the heart of this city. Hikers, bikers, joggers, and casual walkers will find respite in this 325-acre natural environment, Nashua’s urban greenway.

Special attractions: Canal and river frontage, gatehouse and dam, tall pines and wildlife, near the center of the state's second largest city."

I'm a beginning runner so I find the 2.4 mile loop described here as a great one for getting in my run after work, as I live nearby. There are always people in the park though it isn't over-crowded and it generally is wide-enough to accomodate runners, walkers, dogs on leashes, and cyclists.

A nice area, with a few different trails. There few traffic, but also quiet spots. Perfect for short walk or ride after work.

Great place to go for a stroll with your dog or ride bikes or even roller blade...relatively flat so not super challanging.
