Wildwood Campground Professional Guide
Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook
"Wildwood Campground is relatively small—with only 26 sites—and it feels wildly remote. It’s not all that far from the interstate, but you feel as if you’ve traveled deep into the wilderness.
There’s a fairly consistent feel to all the sites. The sites are carved out of older forest of mixed conifers and deciduous trees, with lots of white pine, spruce, maple, and beech. The sites are also of moderately consistent size—only a few are larger than the rest.
There are two loops within the campground lay-out. Most of the sites are somewhat open to the road, but since this is a fairly small and quiet campground, that tends to not matter as much. The sites are mostly secluded on the sides from neighboring sites."
