Mount Tecumseh Trail Professional Reviews and Guides
"Anyone who has watched The Sound of Music retains visions of the ecstatic Von Trapp family cavorting about luxuriant alpine meadows, regaling the peaks with their joyous songs. A little patience on this hike rewards hikers with a chance to duplicate these happy scenes on the open ski slopes of Waterville Valley. Each summer, vast acres of grass and wildflowers carpet the mountainside, offering a continuous panorama of Mount Tripyramid and the Osceola peaks across the resort-speckled valley. Allow your mind to edit out the chairlifts. Singing is purely optional. Special attractions: Wildflowers, sunshine, and spectacular views from meadows on mountain slopes."
