If you are in the mood for a walk through beautiful forests to tumbling White Mountain waterfalls, this is the trip to take. The hike won’t overwhelm you with dramatic mountain views, but it also won’t overwhelm you with strenuous uphill hiking. It starts with an easy climb along Snyder Brook, quickly passing three waterfalls before heading back down and to the west for a visit to the biggest falls of the trip, Cold Brook Falls. The hike presents the creativity of the early twentieth century Randolph path builders who recognized that the mountains offered beauty beyond the alpine world of the high peaks.
