CCC Perimeter Path Professional Review and Guide
"This hike traces the old Maine Central Railroad grade, now a rail trail, into the heart of the Pondicherry wetland, regarded as the most important birding area in New Hampshire. Trace the rail line through lowland spruce-fir forest and then open onto Cherry Pond, where you meet the Presidential Range Rail Trail, another converted line. Soak in views of the Presidential Range before continuing through ecologically rich wetlands to Little Cherry Pond, where you just might see a moose."
