Grafton Pond Professional Review and Guide
"A half-day paddle among pine-covered islands and wildlife-filled coves. Grafton Pond is one of those gems where you can spend as much time as you like exploring nooks and crannies or sunning yourself on a rock on the shore of an island in the middle of the pond. The few houses near the dam at the put-in seem to quickly disappear as you paddle out among the islands on this 235-acre pond that seems much larger. Except for the northwestern shore, most of the land around Grafton Pond is protected by the Society for the Protection of New Hampshire Forests’ 940-acre Grafton Pond Reservation. Thanks to the society’s foresight in 1984, Grafton Pond is still a wild place with crystal-clear waters and abundant wildlife."
