Montalban Ridge

Montalban Ridge Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Montalban Ridge runs due south from Mount Washington for 15 miles. The Davis Path traverses its spine, one of the longest and most remote sections of trail in the Whites-remarkable given its location in the heavily trod Presidential Range.

Crowds gravitate to the alpine peaks of the Southern Presidentials (Trip 23), which run parallel to the west, but Montalban Ridge boasts three exceptional summits of its own, offering 360-degree views of jagged mountainous horizons."
