Kancamagus Boulder Loop Professional Review and Guide
"The Boulder Loop Trail starts next to the Albany Covered Bridge and the rushing waters of the Swift River. This starting location is itself a great place to relax, have a picnic, and explore the banks of the river. The ledges at the top of this hike offer the bird’s-eye view of the area as they overlook the river, the Kancamagus Highway, and the peaks of the Sandwich Range to the south. Since the trail gains 1,000 feet in a little more than mile, you’ll be climbing at a steady pace for the first half of the trip, but the relatively short distance ranks this hike on the easier end of the scale for White Mountain hikes."
