Potanipo Hill

Potanipo Hill Professional Review and Guide

"This ride's general location is Brookline. Scenery includes good birdwatching from Potanipo Hill. Bring your binoculars. Real, honest-to-goodness single-track is hard to find, especially in the lower reaches of New Hampshire, where the hills are low and the valleys settled and developed.

There's not a foot of single-track on this ride. So what? Anyone can ride it; the surroundings are scenic; and the wildlife watching opportunities along the way are pretty good. What more do you really need for a good ride?"

The way this trail is listed out you'll be spending most of your time on roads rather than trails. Potanipo Hill is most notably Andre's Art Institute. A great quick hike up to the summit is a good cardio workout for those of us who live around here - but not worth traveling to unless you're looking for a quick hike with some great outdoor art along the way. From the base to the summit is about 15 minutes by way of most trails. Our 'home' trail - and a great walk at that - but very short.
