Passaconaway Campground Professional Guide
Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook
"The sites within Passaconaway Campground are all quite spacious. This can be both a blessing and a curse. Of all the campgrounds along the Kancamagus, Passaconaway is probably the most conducive to RVs. They are neither catered to (no hookups) nor excluded, but many of the smaller campsites at the other Kancamagus campgrounds naturally keep out the land yachts just by virtue of their size or shape.
On the other hand, the spaciousness of the Passaconaway sites makes them well suited to larger groups or families who need a little extra breathing room. The relatively central location along Kancamagus Highway also puts you in a good spot if you’re not sure what part of The Kanc you want to explore. You’ll be close to Rocky Gorge, Sabbaday Falls, the Swift River picnic area, and the myriad trailheads spread along the length of this superlative stretch of road."
