Little River

Little River Professional Review and Guide

"The Little River begins at the southern edge of the Great Dismal Swamp near Parkville, 10 miles west of Elizabeth City, and forms the Pasquotank and Perquimans County border. The river is very narrow until passing US 17.

At the confluence with Halls Creek above Nixonton, it begins to broaden rapidly. It reaches more than a mile wide over the next 10 miles where it joins Albemarle Sound. This eTrail contains 1 section of the Little River from Old US 17 (Pasquotank Co. 1197) access to Halls Creek Road (Pasquotank Co. 1140) access on Halls Creek."
