Lower McAlpine Creek, McMullen Creek, and Four-Mile Creek Greenway Professional Guide
Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook
"Usually hiking is differentiated from everyday walking by features such as mountains, forests, lakes, and natural surface trails. A residential greenway has to be very alluring to be included in a hiking book. The Lower McAlpine Creek, McMullen Creek, and Four Mile Creek Greenway hike passes neither mountain nor lake, its trees are too sparse to be considered a forest, and it contains hardly any natural surface tread.
Nevertheless, it does include some beautiful wetlands and the most impressive stretch of wooden boardwalks in the region. This entire route is 5.8 miles long and can be completed in sections, as a shuttle, or as a long out- and- back hike."
