Black Mountain Professional Reviews and Guides
"Simply put, this is one of the top three descents in the entire forest. It should be on the “A” list for any rider who requires enormous doses of heartbreak, challenge, and adrenaline. Make no bones about it: This descent is rough and treacherous, filled with high water bars and hungry rocks. Never mind what any of the signs or maps say: This is an advanced trail for advanced riders. I can’t recall a more pounding descent. Tread: 9.5 miles of rough-and-ready Pisgah singletrack; 0.4 mile of gravel Forest Service road."
