Bur-Mil Park: Little Loop Professional Guide
Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook
"This hike combines the popular Lake Brandt Greenway with the seldom-traveled Little Loop Trail, which explores rolling woodland in the southeast corner of Bur-Mil Park. Since you start at Bur-Mil Park Wildlife Education Center, consider combining this trek with a visit to the center. If you want to extend your hike, the Lake Brandt Greenway travels in both directions beyond the Little Loop Trail.
The Bur-Mil Park wildlife education center, named for Frank
Sharpe Jr., is situated in a renovated barn that has been on
the property since the early 1900s. You can enjoy the nature
programs and displays at no charge. Classes at the center
include Wildlife for Every Season, All about Insects, nature
photography, and even beginner fly fishing. For anglers who
want to enjoy the pond this hike travels by, the wildlife education center sells bait and licenses and will even loan you a rod."
