San-Lee Park Trail

San-Lee Park Trail Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Basically, this trail finds thrills where it can, dropping straight down into a ravine rather than switchbacking down, going over rocks and tree roots instead of around them, taking a more circuitous route up a long hill. It’s a subtle difference from a standard trail, but noticeable."

This is my second time on this trail. Its about 9 miles total. Its a little tricky for first time riders, me. But I had a lot of fun. The first time my GFs and I cut it short, but the second time I did the entire trail. Expect a lot of rocks and tree roots. It is a good trail with lots of shade.

I am a new rider and once I got out on the first half of the trail, it turned out to be a little trickier than I was expecting. Mainly because of the many switchbacks and rocks. There was a good variety of up/down hill and straight away/ turns. The second half of the trail is a little more open. More rolling hills and good places to cruise along. I enjoyed the second half a little more because of my skill level. Take the bridge across the dam and follow the signs up the hill to start at the half-way point. Great place to ride for ANY level.
