Mill Shoals Falls, French Broad Falls, and Cathedral Falls Professional Review and Guide
"Within the Balsam Grove area of Pisgah National Forest, two watersheds converge behind Living Waters, a Christian ministry, to form a double waterfall. The North Fork of the French Broad River flows from the northwest and tumbles over a river-wide rock shelf, creating a 60-foot curtain of water called French Broad Falls. Shoal Creek joins the French Broad from the northeast a short distance downstream as Mill Shoals Falls, the site of an old millhouse built by William McCall circa 1900."
