Pott’s Branch Trail

Raleigh , North Carolina

Pott’s Branch Trail Professional Review and Guide

"Within the heart of the capital city of Raleigh, William B. Umstead State Park has lots to offer. With 20 miles of trails, your options are endless, but the Pott’s Branch Trail is thoroughly enjoyable.

The wooded path briskly leads you downhill and out to a little point alongside Pott’s Branch. This is the first of several swimming holes where the dogs have a blast romping around in the rocky creek. The trail follows the creek upstream, before looping back through the picnic area where you began."
