This 11-mile loop is made up of both singletrack and doubletrack winding around the eastern half of the high ground between Mouse Branch and Battles Branch, small feeder creeks for Fontana Lake. Technically, this loop has little challenge for a moderately experienced biker. Likewise on the aerobic demands. But the scenery! Whoa! Every corner has its own pristine view of either the expanse of Fontana Lake or the narrow mountain gorges this region is known for. This is a god trail to take an advanced beginning biker on; take some extra time to explore the side routes. Scenery: Tsali's incredible scenery encourages a slower pace; Right Loop's overlook of the Great Smoky Mountains and Fontana Lake is a nice stop.

Tsali kicks a$$. The right loop is really fun and fast. Tsali is criticized for not being techinal enough, but don't let that stop you from comming. The right loop is tight and fast. There are roots scattered here and there to make it interesting. There is also a little loop that branches off, towards the end of the loop that has some huge whoops on it. While this is not Pisgah, with all the technical climbs and DHs, this is still one of the most fun places to ride in NC. I love big ole berms. Oh ya, go check out the paddlers down at NOC, good restuarant too. Oh ya, there is now a little mobile bike shop at the trail head, you can buy tubes and things like that.

the Right Loop, like the other three trails at Tsali, are very fast and fun. When Conditions are dry there is no place faster. Nothing too technical and multiple locations of water bars(jumps) scattered throughout the loop. don't skip the overlooks, thier worth the trip. remember that speed is the key to fun at Tsail.
