Left Overlook Professional Review and Guide

"The nearly 12 miles of singletrack and doubletrack making up Left Loop contain the same groomed trail surface found elsewhere at Tsali, but the difficulty is turned up a notch from that found on the easier Right Loop.

The mixed hardwood forest of this section rarely opens up enough to allow the expansive views found on Right Loop, the exception being the spectacular "designated overlook" to the west of Meadow Branch. But the lack of views doesn't mean boredom has any chance of setting in. In fact, the increased difficulty of this route demands the beginning biker's full attention. Many advanced riders looking for a high-mileage workout combine Right Loop and Left Loop to a total lap of over 20 miles."

The Left Loop is the longest of the Tsali trails. layed out very much like the right loop and just as fun. Speed is key to this trail with its nicely groomed singletrack. the overlook at the 9 mile mark is a no brainer. YOU MUST GO!! you can see forever up there. when you get done with it's singletrack a 2 mile double track will take you back to the parking lot.(mostly downhill!)
