Lake Lynn Trail Professional Reviews and Guides
"This Raleigh park trek circles a pretty impoundment. Start at Lake Lynn Community Center then drop through a transitional wetland. Begin circling Lake Lynn. As an added plus, much of the loop traverses boardwalk that runs atop the water. Grab long views from atop the lake dam, then continue walking shoreline and more long stretches of boardwalk before returning to the community center."

"Lake Lynn Park has so much to offer the residents of Raleigh. A community center, tennis, baseball, bocce, playgrounds, and the fabulous Lake Lynn Trail provide entertainment for locals and visitors alike. The trail makes a loop around Lake Lynn the entire way. A mix of pavement and boardwalk makes up the surface, and the trail is quite wooded and shady. Several swimming spots make this popular trail great for hiking with your hound. Sparsely placed benches give you a place to sit and enjoy the view."
