Reedy Fork Professional Review and Guide
"An easy, fun ride that anyone will enjoy; good introduction trail. Mostly smooth, level cranking with enough roots and other drops to make you pay attention. You’ll at least see the beavers’ handiwork, if not the fat little buggers themselves. Tread: 6.8 miles of singletrack."
--Timm Muth, Mountain Biking North Carolina (Falcon Guides).
Reedy Fork Trail winds through hardwoods, large pines, and swampy lowlands. Some aspects of the trail are technical with large roots to navigate but this is a good trail for a beginner to learn and develop skills. Experienced riders can work on improving their singletrack speed. This trail is maintained by the Greensboro Fat Tire Society and improvements are always taking place. A local website for mountain bikers allows you to keep up with current trail conditions and workdays at BikeTriad.com. This trail is subject to flooding on the Lake Brandt entrance.
