Greensboro, North Carolina, has established itself as the leader in mountain biking destinations within the Tarheel State's Triad: Greensboro, Winston-Salem, and High Point. Perhaps the best example of what's available can be found in the 3.5-mile loop inside the city's Bur-Mil Park. The trail circles through the forest and winds along a creek on easily ridden and well-groomed doubletrack. Of course, hikers and runners are seen frequently on the trail, but the park is also a popular site for many other recreational activities. Part of this trail serves as the connector to Owl's Roost Trail, a more advanced section of singletrack also found within Bur-Mil Park.
