    Twentymile Trail

    Twentymile Trail is a hiking and horse trail in Swain County, North Carolina. It is within Great Smoky Mountains National Park. It is 5.0 miles long and begins at 1,331 feet altitude. Traveling the entire trail is 10.0 miles with a total elevation gain of 2,480 feet. Near the trailhead there is parking. The 93 (elevation 2,562 feet) camp site can be seen along the trail. The trail ends near the Sassafras Gap saddle. This trail connects with the following: Twentymile Loop Trail, Long Hungry Ridge Trail, Appalachian Trail, Wolf Ridge Trail and Lost Cove Trail.
