Tow String Horse Trail

Tow String Horse Trail is a hiking and horse trail in Swain County, North Carolina. It is within Great Smoky Mountains National Park. It is 2.2 miles long and begins at 2,140 feet altitude. Traveling the entire trail is 4.5 miles with a total elevation gain of 1,067 feet. The Tow String Horse Camp site is near the trailhead. The Husky Cemetery (elevation 2,303 feet) cemetery can be seen along the trail. There is also parking along the trail. This trail connects with the following: Bradley Fork Trail, Smokemont Stables Trail to Towstring Horse Trail, New Beck-Huskey Cemetery Access, Carver Cemeter Access and Old Beck Cemetery Access.
