Thomas Divide Trail

Thomas Divide Trail is a hiking and horse trail in Swain County, North Carolina. It is within Great Smoky Mountains National Park. It is 10.4 miles long and begins at 4,640 feet altitude. Traveling the entire trail is 21.0 miles with a total elevation gain of 5,856 feet. Near the trailhead there is parking. The Tuskee Gap saddle, Nettle Creek Bald and Turkey Flyup, and the 52 (elevation 4,948 feet) camp site can be seen along the trail. This trail connects with the following: Kanati Fork Trail, Newton Bald Trail, Sunkota Ridge Trail and Deep Low Gap Trail.
