    Long Hungry Ridge Trail

    Long Hungry Ridge Trail is a hiking and horse trail in Swain County, North Carolina. It is within Great Smoky Mountains National Park. It is 4.4 miles long and begins at 2,365 feet altitude. Traveling the entire trail is 8.9 miles with a total elevation gain of 2,509 feet. The 92 (elevation 2,503 feet) camp site can be seen along the trail. The trail ends near the Proctor Field Gap saddle. This trail connects with the following: Twentymile Loop Trail, Twentymile Trail and Gregory Bald Trail.
