"The Cataloochee Divide Trail rewards whether you do the entire, daylong 12.8-mile out-and-back enchilada, or just hike the 1.2 miles to the overlook. It is a trail for both the avid outdoors person and the family looking for a challenging, but not death-defying, scenery-packed outing."

Over all it was a good trip. There is a lot to see. They only disappointment I had was running back into civilization. Other than that it was amazing hike with some great views and lots of time with nature.
