Cape Hatteras National Seashore-Frisco Campground

Cape Hatteras National Seashore-Frisco Campground Professional Review and Guide

"The campsites are nestled among the large rolling hills of the sand dunes. Although they are not right on the beach, you can clearly see the ocean from a select few sites that sit high upon the dunes, and the sound of the waves provides a constant song of solace, serenading you all night long.

The town of Frisco is rich with Native American history and offers plenty of action. You can obtain a permit to drive on the beach (four-wheel-drive vehicles only) or visit the nearby Cape
Hatteras Lighthouse. Head just outside the campground and rent a pontoon boat or kayak, or try your hand at kiteboarding."
