This trail starts at the Anne Springs Close Nature Center and follows the historic Nation Ford Road past Rush Pavilion to Lake Haigler. The route then does a semicircle around the scenic lake. At the halfway point you will veer south on the Blue Star Trail and travel a narrow trail through an upland hardwood forest. This out-and-back portion of the hike exits the trees at the peach grove fields located at the southwest corner of the property. From here the path backtracks to Lake Haigler, at which point you will contour the remainder of the shoreline before returning to the trailhead on Nation Ford Road.
