The Gragg Prong, a headwater tributary of Wilson Creek, is born in Pisgah National Forest, southeast of Grandfather Mountain. This is a pristine run that is also a popular hiking and fishing destination. The run is only 1.9 miles before the confluence with Lost Cove Creek. From the confluence there is 2.7 miles of easier paddling to the takeout.
