Since this ride is so long and the first eleven miles are all uphill, many people shuttle to the top and just ride down. Whichever way you do it, it's fantastic. The views from the Parkway are stunning and the twenty-five miles (all downhill!) through the National Park is something you'll remember for a long time. Highlights: Blue Ridge Parkway, Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Cherokee Indian Reservation, long 7% uphill grade, views, stream crossings, long downhill, tunnels
