University of North Carolina at Charlotte Botanical Gardens Professional Review and Guide

"These beautiful botanical gardens, on the east side of the University of North Carolina (UNC) at Charlotte campus, are definitely worth a visit. Each section of the garden is unique in design and captures the essence of gardening in various parts of the world as part of the international theme. Apart from the wonderful flora that can be explored on the grounds, an exceptional amount of impressive architectural design and artful craftsmanship have gone into the garden’s many bridges, art displays, gazebos, and trellises. The trail begins near UNC’s McMillan Greenhouse, where you can peek in and check out all the exotic plants the professors are cultivating. Then head onto the trail and into the Susie Harwood Garden for a pleasant walk that feels more like an adventure through gardens of the world. This trail is highly recommended for children."
