McDowell Nature Preserve Campground

McDowell Nature Preserve Campground Professional Review and Guide

"Sitting right on the banks of Lake Wylie, the McDowell Nature Preserve is a great place to get back to nature, without ever leaving the city. Although the campground is not directly on Lake Wylie, the nature preserve is. So you have all the amenities of lakeside camping.

There are several fishing piers and picnic areas for enjoying the lake, as well as miles of hiking trails for exploring the interior of the preserve. You can take the kids to the nature center or join in on one of the many interactive programs offered here."
