This 4.6-mile combination trail (a 2.8-mile loop with an out-and-back spur; the spur is .9 each way) is a great introduction to the interior of Panthertown Valley. Mostly level, moderately technical, and a lot of fun to ride, this trail follows a jeep road, doubletrack, singletrack, and a grassy logging road as it rolls through rare southern Appalachian bog and swamp forest-bog complexes. A couple of small creek crossings, sand bogs, and rocky terrain make this a great ride for beginners to practice technical skills. A great trail network, campsites, a shelter, waterfalls, and incredible scenery combine to make this a great weekend getaway. Often called the "Yosemite of the East;" so bring a camera.
