Waterfalls of Graveyard Fields Professional Review and Guide
"A combination of high country and high, bold waterfalls is rare, but you can find it here along the Blue Ridge Parkway. Yellowstone Prong gathers and flows in the bosom of mile-high mountains, creating two visually exciting waterfalls. The hike linking Lower Falls and Upper Falls travels a medley of field and forest, rock and sky, delivering panoramas of the mountains from which the falls flow. Note: The area is very popular in summer. We suggest hiking early in the morning and late in the evening then or during the shoulder seasons of spring and fall. In winter, this segment of the Blue Ridge Parkway often closes."
