Pine Tree Connector Professional Review and Guide

"At times, especially in summer and fall, the area can be congested, but if you hike during the off-season or on a weekday, it is a perfect place to hike with your dog. If hiking during fall hunting season (in North Carolina, hunting seasons run from September to May), place a blaze orange vest on your dog, since hunting is permitted in the national forest.

Currently, hunting is prohibited on Sundays throughout the state. The Pine Tree Loop Trail is one of many great little hikes in the Bent Creek area, winding through forests and fields and crossing enough streams to keep dogs interested, alert, and happy. Although mountain bikes are allowed on this trail, it is flat and wide enough for users to safely pass each other."
