The majority is a gravel road (more grass than gravel the farther up you go). A little over a mile of singletrack lies at the end of the road. You may need to use snips to clear a path on this tight section; either that or be prepared to lose some hide tearing through the blackberry canes. But the doubletrack is a pleasure anytime of year. The singletrack trail, Shill Stand Creek, is located nearby and can be added for an extra 6-mile loop.
