This ride will hammer you. You'll start with a 6-mile climb, the last 1.5 miles of which is a push up steep rock steps. The cliff-top view at the highest point is pretty spectacular - the perfect reward for going the distance. Ride surface is 2.8 miles of single track, 1.4 miles of double track, and 6.3 miles of forest road. Highlights: Long climb, technical uphill, great views, rock cave, and a rhododendron tunnel.
