Big Swamp Professional Review and Guide

"Big Marsh Swamp, Little Marsh Swamp, and Gallberry Swamp are the headwaters of Big Swamp. They begin from just southeast of Raeford to south of Hope Mills and join about 15 miles south of Fayetteville to form Big Swamp. As Big Swamp flows south near Tarheel, it is only 4 miles west of the Cape Fear River.

After passing between Bladenboro and Lumberton, it flows southwest to join the Lumber River. This eTrail contains 1 section of Big Swamp from Old Lumberton Road (Robeson Co. 1002) access to US 74 access on Lumber River near Boardman."
