Trout Lake Road Professional Review and Guide
"Unlike popular Bass Lake, with its grassy banks and deciduous trees, Trout Lake—its shores covered in a forest of towering hemlocks—is far less visited. This is also a great starting point for a long and quiet hike higher on Rich Mountain. Trout Lake makes for a memorable lakeshore walk or cross-country ski trip through a nice forest."
